Opportunity Management

Overview

An Opportunity is the specific sales deal being pursued including the estimated dollar amount. The Opportunity record will be related to the Lead or Contact record of the person with whom you are hoping to do business. In short, a sales opportunity is a contact or an account that has been qualified.

Flexibility in creating opportunity types

The Bridge Platform allows Admin users to create multiple Opportunity types based on the Company’s Business Plan for Opportunities. Bridge’s opportunity module is flexible in the sense that it allows Admin users to add ‘n’ number of custom fields, decide which user groups should have visibility of those, change the layout of the fields, etc.

These Opportunity Types can be shared with the selected sets of Users and thus providing the company with the ability to assign different Opportunity Types to different User groups.

Opportunity records

The Partner User with whom Opportunity Type is shared can create Opportunity records, associate them with contact(s) and share it with other Users. The ownership of the Opportunities can be transferred to other shared Users.

Opportunity status

The Opportunities in the Bridge platform has 4 statuses –Open, Closed Won, Closed Lost, and Inactive.

Interacting with an opportunity

The User can interact with the contacts in the opportunity by sending related assets to the associated contacts or add these contacts to playbooks to nurture them for closure. The Bridge platform recommends assets to Users to help to convert the Opportunity.

Opportunity reports

The User can view detailed reports, complete with visual representations that explain

  • Market-wise distribution
  • Associated contact activities
  • What’s lacking in terms of Sales and Marketing activities for the Opportunities created/shared with the User

Opportunity notifications

Users can create a list of Opportunities filtered based on various conditions and send notifications to Creator/Owner/themselves related to those. Along with notifications, the User can also set ‘To Do’ for the Creator/Owner/themselves.

Opportunity scoring

Scoring and Incentives can be created based on various conditions related to the Opportunities. This helps in motivating the Partners to close the Opportunity and give the Company an insight into the most effective Opportunity types, Market and other factors.

Currency conversion

The Opportunities can be created in any currency and the Bridge platform will automatically convert it to the User’s currency while displaying it to the User.

CRM Integration

The Bridge platform integrates with all leading CRM platforms including SFDC, Autotask, ConnectWise and more for a seamless flow of Opportunity data back and forth.

Opportunity widgets can also be added to the dashboard for a quick visual representation of key opportunity related data and for easy access to the Opportunity module.

An insight into the working of Bridge’s Opportunity module

The following diagram offers a detailed insight into the working of the Bridge platform’s opportunity management module. The platform’s Opportunity database is central to the opportunity management functionality. As a new opportunity flows in, the fields are automatically mapped and then the opportunity is input into the database. The system also supports real-time, bi-directional sync between the opportunity database and CRM platform. It also allows for creation of Opportunity smart lists, whereby the opportunities are segmented based on various pre-defined conditions and automated notifications are sent to specified users. The partner users can view key opportunity related data and have easy access to the opportunity section via the opportunity widgets in the dashboard.
